MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1946*. Stopped in 1949 after 15 issues.

The series follows the daily, and sometimes intricate, lives of multiple characters in Colonel Lane's Mammoth Circus. Some of the recurring persons are Carnie Calahan the barker (slang for announcer), Lena the fat lady, Tiny Tim the strong man, and Major Midge the small man.
