The series premiered in 1951. Stopped in 1956 after 38 issues.

The series follows one of The Department of the Treasury's more colourful and intrepid tax collecting agents, Pete Trask, in his daily trouble-shooting work trying to enforce the tax laws.
The title is slang for Treasure Man just as the more well known abbreviation G-Man stands for Government Man.
