The series premiered in 1982*. Ongoing.

The title character, who is a beautiful girl always dressed in a flimsy white tunic, is an accomplished sword fighter living in a strange medieval setting inhabited by hostiles and monsters as well as magicians and wizards.

The series must not be confused with Aria.
