Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1967*. Stopped in 1971 after 36 issues, but was continued erratically titled Attackserien by other publishers between 1978 and 1985.

This Swedish series consists of heroic war tales describing Allied soldiers fighting in World War 2.

* The series ran from 1965 to 1967 titled Det Stora Kriget (16 issues).
