MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1975*. Stopped in 1976 after 10 issues.

The series is loosely built around a Brazilian folklore figure named Pererê (nicknamed Saci), who is a jolly, pipe-smoking black boy with one leg. The stories follow his adventures in the company of diverse characters such as the Indian friend Tininim, the monkey Alan, the jaguar Galileu, and the rabbit Geraldinho.
