MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2000*. Stopped in 2006 after 73 issues.

The character of Batgirl is basically a female counterpart of the starring character in Batman, and they often join forces in their eternal crime-fighting efforts. Batgirl's secret identity is rather puzzling in this series, where she is portrayed as Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, and Barbara Gordon.

* The character of Batgirl was first published in 1967, and she has been revived several times since then bearing different identities. The series on this page represents Batgirl's latest (last?) appearance.
