MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1960. Stopped in 1962 after 11 issues.

The two title characters are Beep Beep the roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote the coyote, and all the stories focus on Coyote's neverending attempts to catch the superfast Beep for dinner. All attempts are futile despite that he often invests great sums in gadgets from a company named Acme that should help him in his life's project.
The events unfold in an unspecified desert so deserted that there are no other characters present.
Actually, Coyote made his comic book debut in 1949 in Looney Tunes as Kelsey Coyote.

The series is based on an animated short cartoon series that ran from 1949 to 2010.
