MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1962. Stopped in 1995.

Belvedere is the title of a single comic strip as well as the name of the white, blackspotted dog, that dominates the panels. It acts and moves as a very laid-back human, although it does not have the gift of speech. All dialogue is spoken by the surrounding characters, of which a recurring, nameless couple is Belvedere's owners.
