Comments: Following his massive success with Les Schtroumphs Peyo let several other artists do the graphics. Garray, Gos, Walthéry are examples. He also let his son Thierry Culliford take part in the scripting.

 

 

MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1960.

Benoît is a small boy always dressed in a black beret, a blue scarf, and a red jacket. He is equipped with superhuman strength, which causes him to be able to help people and catch criminals, but he has a hidden and most irritating weakness - he loses his powers when he gets a cold, and that happens fairly often and at the most inconvenient occasions!
