Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

The series premiered in 1992*. Stopped in 1993 after 12 issues.

The starring character is Ryan Kendall, who has acquired superpowers such as flight, telekinesis, and rapid healing abilities through genetic experiments conducted by his grandfather.
