Name: DC (American comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

Comments: The corporation's logo changed several times over the years. The selected one ran from 1976 to 2005.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2009. Stopped in 2010 after 8 issues, but has been revived several times since in shortlived series.

The series contains several characters serving as forces of death. They resurrect deceased superheroes in order to use them for their own evil purposes. The overall plots were continued in Brightest Day.
