MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1932.

The most often occurring villain in the mouse universe is Black Pete, the loudmouthed and unscrupulous criminal, who is eternally battling Mickey Mouse and Goofy. It is interesting that Pete also 'trespassed' into the duck universe from time to time.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Floyd Gottfredson (1905-1986), Guido Martina (1906-1991), Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Donald 'Don' Ragnvald Christensen (1916-2006), Victor 'Vic' Lockman (1927-), Ivan Saidenberg (1940-2009).
