The series premiered in 1963. Stopped in 1980 after 97 issues.

The series consists of multiple stories that delve in many kinds of unsettling mysticism, dark horrors, and deadly adventures. The most famous film actor from these genres, Boris Karloff, lends his name to the series.

The full title of the series is Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery.
