MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1992*. Stopped in 1993 after 20 issues, but the series has been revived several times since then.

The title character's birth name was Carl Cage, but he changed it to Luke Cage after a severe accident that rendered him with superhuman powers, which he uses to neutralize supervillains.

* Initially, the character was first published in Luke Cage, Hero for Hire from 1972 to 1973 (16 issues).
