MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1980*. Stopped in 1983 after 80 issues.

The starring character in this science fiction series is Curtis 'Curt' Newton, who travels the solar system as scientist and adventurer. Being of superhuman strength and with the ability of flight Newton has assumed an identity as Captain Future.

* The character as such was first published named Andrew Bryant in American pulp magazines from 1940, but the series on this page is loosely based on an animated TV series that aired from 1980 to 1982 (53 episodes).
