Personal dates: Founded in 1898 as a printing house by Jean Dupuis  (1875-1952). Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation started the publishing of newspapers and novels in 1922, and since 1938 a variety of children's comic book series have been added.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991*. Stopped in 2007 after 13 issues.

The series' main character is Charly Lasalle, whom we follow from 1991 when he is 6 years old child and until he is a 17 year old teenager. In the beginning he experiences how one of his harmless looking space rocket toys, as a supernatural phenomenon, comes to life and reveals terrifying and aggressive potential.
The ship is called Cap'tain Foudre (means Thunderbolt in English) and it enables Lasalle to look into the past and the future, but he has a hard time trying to control it. Besides, outside forces move in to commandeer the strange toy.
