The series premiered in
1966. Stopped in 2001.
The series stars the young, medieval
knight Ardent Walburga, who is a fiery nobleman
from the European Ardennes. His goal is to earn
his spurs in adventures where he can help the
needy and fight the oppressors. To that end he
often leaves his ancestral domain, Rougecogne, to
travel both the European continent and the Middle
East.
The title Chevalier Ardent
means Knight Ardent in English (the word Ardent
means strong or fiery).
