Personal dates: Founded in 1957 by James Warren Taubman (1930-).  Stopped in 1983.

Comments: The corporation especially published comic books in fantasy, horror, and science fiction genres.
The corporation never used a logo on their comic book front covers. The only identification (if any!) was the rather inconspicuous line A Warren Magazine.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1964. Stopped in 1983 after 145 issues, but has been revived a few times since then.

The series contains a mixture of horror and suspense in self-contained stories often of the more psychological and macabre kind. The stories are presented by a character known as Uncle Creepy.
