MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1999. Stopped in 2001 after 17 issues.

Alex Elder is a 16-year old teenager, who one night gets bitten by a vampire. He is then saved by Ekimus, the member of an ancient race, who instructs Elder to destroy all vampires (as well as werewolves and assorted monsters while he is at it) by means of magical powers thus saving humankind from an upcoming apocalypse. He goes to work as his alter ego Crimson.
