MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1975.

The scene is set in the Sahara Desert, where we follow daily life in a branch of the Foreign Legion. The commandant, Crock, is a sadistic leader of his men who undergo all sorts of punishments for minor slips.
The overall concept is quite unique; the series is built on the characters' mutual idiocy - as well as general meanness, cruelty, and impudence - but still it has appeal.
