The series premiered in 1943.

The title character is, most of the time, the girlfriend of Donald Duck. She is a goodnatured and helpful character, but she also has vain and tyrannical sides.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Robert 'Bob' Louis Karp (1911-1975), Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Victor 'Vic' Lockman (1927-), Jan Kruse (1946-), Nino Russo (1960-), Paul Halas (1949-).
