Comments: The corporation, that was marketed as Super Comics in the later years, specialized in shortlived series some of which were unauthorized reprints of other publishers' material.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1963*. Stopped in 1964 after 7 issues. The numbering sequence was highly unusual; it started with #10 and ended with #18, and nos. 13 and 14 were never published.

The series consists of a cavalcade of independent action stories featuring a number of diverse characters such as Black Dwarf, Captain Power, Gunmaster, Johnny Danger, The Defenders (not the superhero series by the same title), and Yankee Girl.

* Another series with the same title was published from 1953 to 1954 (11 issues).
