MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991*. Stopped in 1994 after 34 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The title character's alter ego is that of Luther Manning, a colonel in the American army who gets fatally wounded. Later his usable bodyparts are assembled and he gets reanimated by a scientific technique as an experimental cyborg with superpowers.
