MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2004. Stopped in 2009 after 13 issues.

The main character is the nerdy 14-year old boy Daisuke Niwa (hence the D.N. in the title), who just discovered romantic love - and was rejected. This daunting experience causes Niwa to occasionally and unvoluntarily transmute into a daredevil master thief called Dark. His greatest wish - apart from escaping the long arm of the police - is to regain the respect of his first crush, Rita Harada, thus enabling him to lead a normal life again.
