Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1980. Stopped in 1981 after 12 issues, but continued as a new series from 1983 to 1984 (additional 12 issues).

This Swedish series features a goodhearted, rather eccentric but highly inventive professor who often ventures on psychedelic adventures with his friends.

The full title of the series is Doktor Snuggles och hans Vänner meaning Doctor Snuggles and his Friends in English.
