Name: DC (American comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

Comments: The corporation's logo changed several times over the years. The selected one ran from 1976 to 2005.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002. Stopped in 2012 after 121 issues, but a spinoff titled Jack of Fables was published from 2006 to 2010 (50 issues).

The Fables are a group of aliens who has travelled to our world in order to help people from the fairy tale universe to a new life if needed (example: Snow White is divorced and needs a new start). The characters settle in New York City, and the Fables even manage to help needy monsters and alike from the fairy tales by placing them in a farm near the city.
