Comments: Felix was created by animator Messmer as a cartoon character for the Pat Sullivan Studios in 1919. The cat began under the name of Master Tom, though. Messmer retired from the comic series in 1954.

 

 

MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1923. Stopped in 1966 but it is sporadically revived to this day.

The character of Felix is a black cat easily recognizeable by his huge eyes. He goes on numerous adventures where he brings good luck to people in trouble - and bad luck to bad guys...

Felix the Cat must not be confused with Felix.
