MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1934.

This is one of the first science fiction series. A scientist, Dr. Hans Zarkov, supplies Flash Gordon and his girlfriend Dale Arden with all the technology needed to let them travel among the stars of the universe. Here they visit multiple strange worlds. A recurring one is the planet Mongo where the evil Emperor Ming the Merciless rules.
