MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1942. Stopped in 1962 after x issues*.

The series contains a massive number of independent funny animal and action stories featuring characters from cartoons, comic strips, films, and more.

In reality, the series was not officially titled Four Color Comics, but this is the generally used term nowadays. A first - and far less numerous - run is known as Four Color Comics Series 1.

* The last issue was numbered #1354, but the total was not as high, because several of the higher numbers were simply skipped and never published. An estimated grand total number of published issues stands at 1321.
