MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1942. Stopped in 1947 after 27 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The main character, Britt Reid, is a publisher at the Daily Sentinel newspaper by day, and a masked vigilante known as Green Hornet by night. He fights criminals in his secret identity, and he either brings the culprits to justice or he leaves incriminating evidence for the police to find.

The basic character premiered in a radio series (1936-1952), that has since been followed by several film and TV series.
