MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010. Stopped in 2012 after 7 issues.

The starring character is Honey West, a sexy female private detective, who, according to the initial authors Gloria and Forrest Fickling, is a mixture between bombshell Marilyn Monroe and detective Mike Hammer.

The title character first appeared in novels starting in 1957 under the author pseudonym G.G. Fickling. They were followed by a TV series from 1965.
