MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965. Stopped in 1996 after 205 issues.

This Swedish action series features the British MI5 intelligence agent James Bond, codenamed 007, who is constantly on perilous and almost impossible missions all over the globe battling numerous villainous elements more or less singlehandedly.

The series is built over the many immensely popular James Bond films that started in 1962. Several actors have portrayed the agent, which is also why the front covers below, that partly follow the film premieres, carry different images.

The full title of the series is James Bond Agent 007.
