MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1954. Stopped in 1955 after 44 issues, but was continued from 1955 to 1958 (72 issues) and from 1959 to 1960 (22 issues).

The title character is a happy-go-lucky sea captain, who, along with his monkey, sails out on adventures on the high seas.
