MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1954. Stopped in 1977.

The title character is a righteous and tuff U.S. Marshall who travels endlessly in the Old West in order to bring justice to the good and to track down numerous villains. Spring, who is mostly portrayed as a flawless hero, is accompanied on the missions by his friend, the more cheerful and pragmatic Mexican sidekick, Pancho.
