MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2005. Stopped in 2013 after 21 issues.

A girl, Tominaga Sei, living in the 1860s' Japan seeks revenge against a clan responsible for the murder of her father and brother. She does so by disguising herself as a boy using the name Kamiya Seizaburo, thus enabling her to join the special police force known as Mibu-Roshi. During her mission Sei gets romantically involved with a brilliant swordsman named Okita Sōji.

The series' Japanese title means Shining Wind in English.
