The starring character is the French Nobleman,
Marquis Martin d'Andigny, who manages to survive the revolution
and enroll in Napoleon Bonaparte's army. There he fights in the
Egyptian campaign, but his past follows him.
The
series' French title translates to The Son of the Eagle in
English.
