Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965*. Stopped in 1997 after 33 issues, but was continued by another publisher. Ongoing.

This annual Swedish series is set in Stockholm and follows the life of Fridolf and Selma Olsson. He is a small and stocky, hardworking office manager, while she tends the home. Their marriage seems most often to be a happy one, although he is constantly bullied by his dominating wife.

* The series started as a newspaper strip in 1956, and was from 1960 published in the comic book format by another publisher.
