MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1964. Stopped in 1968 after 10 issues.

The title character is a gorilla who wanders about doing as little as possible. His favourite pastime is to visit Melvin Pebbles, a pet shop owner, who is not very welcoming as Gorilla loves to munch his bananas.

The series is based on an animated cartoon TV series titled The Magilla Gorilla Show that ran from 1964 to 1967 (31 episodes).
