Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

Comments: The corporation's logo changed several times over the years. The selected one ran from 1976 to 2005.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965. Stopped in 1968 after 17 issues.

The title character is Rex Mason, a former adventurer who was exposed to a radioactive meteorite, that took away his human appearance and supplied him with the ability to transmute into any elemental compound. Metamorpho is also known as The Element Man and Dyna-man.
