The series premiered in 1951. Stopped in 1953 after 11 issues.

The title character is a U.S. leatherneck fighting in the Korean conflict. Usually, he is accompanied by his buddies called Canarsie and Tex.

The full title of the series is Monty Hall of the U.S. Marines.
