Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965*. Stopped in 1972 after 103 issues.

This Swedish series features several anthropomorphic cats living in the town of Uppsala. The title character is a friendly, almost gullible, cat with no tail (Svanslös in Swedish), who is often bullied by the villainous Måns and his helpers Bill and Bull. But together with his friends Pelle always manage to neutralize the gang.
