The series premiered in 1965. Stopped in 1987.

The character of Philémon is a French farmboy, who, after having taken an unvoluntary dive into the farm's well, suddenly finds himself in odd and mystical worlds, that are apparently located on several islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Here Philémon meets all sorts of strange beings spanning from plants to humans. The series is poetically surreal and somewhat reminiscent of Lewis Carroll's novel Alice in Wonderland.
