MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1997. Stopped in 2000 after 24 issues.

The main character in these fictional stories is the famous author Edgar Allan Poe, who mourns the death of his wife Lenore. An angel tells him that he may be reunited with her if he ventures out on dangerous quests to defeat diverse demons, so Poe takes off. Some of the recurring characters during Poe's mission are Finster, Mad Meg Mayflower, Pippin Zagroot, and Ravenwood.
