The series premiered in 1962. Stopped in 1965 after 12 issues*.

The nameless, female teen nicknamed Ponytail is a (stereo)typical product of the 1960s, when teenagers in a way took over society. The series focuses on her daily problems with girlfriends and, especially, boyfriends and bears some resemblance to Teena, Thirteen, and other similar series.

* The series started as a newspaper comic strip in 1960, and stopped as such in 1989.
