MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002. Stopped in 2007 after 16 issues.

This dark series takes place in a futuristic 19th century USA, in which a fallen archangel named Temozarela descends to Earth in order to prepare for his resurrection. The title character is a former priest, Ivan Isaacs, who gets his girlfriend murdered by the archangel and his 12 angelic disciples, and now he is out for revenge.
