MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1960. Stopped in 1962 after 10 issues.

This satirical series stars the title character who is an anthropomorphic horse wearing a red ten gallon hat and a blue bandana. McGraw is oftentimes depicted as a sheriff in the Old West. Although he has good intentions, he is also rather dim, but somehow he always manages to catch the bad guys. McGraw is occasionally accompanied by a burro called Baba Looey.

The series is based on a cartoon TV series called The Quick Draw McGraw Show that ran from 1959 to 1962 (45 episodes).
