The series premiered in 1985. Stopped in
1988.
The title character is a psychic gypsy also known
under her nickname La Louve (The Wolf). She lives in the 15th
century's Italy, where she is on the run from her tribe, and
with her friend Anna nicknamed La Rousse (The Redhead) she
travels to seek a decent life. One day they get wind of a
valuable, hidden treasure and they start searching for it -
along with all sorts of shady characters.
The
series is also known as I Testamenti di Sant'Ambrogio
(The Wills of Saint Ambrose).
