MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1979. Stopped in 1986 after 75 issues.

The title character is a cyborg from the planet Ganador, that has been invaded by the evil Dire Wraiths. Rom manages to flee to Earth from where he fights the aliens who are hunting him. To his aid Rom has a neutralizer that can send the Wraiths into limbo. 

The series is based on a robotic toy from Parker Brothers.
