MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1960. Stopped in 1962 after 9 issues.

The starring characters in this madcap funny animal series are the friends Ruff, a brainy and smart cat, and Reddy, a dumb and stupid dog. The series has a gallery of sidekicks; examples are the kind Professor Gizmo, the evil-doers Killer and Diller, the terrible Texas twins, and the chicken-hearted Chickasaurus.

The series is based on a cartoon TV series called The Ruff & Reddy Show that ran from 1957 to 1964 (103 episodes).
