MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965. Stopped in 1977 after 652 issues, when it was merged into The Topper.

This is a youngsters' magazine containing humourous stories featuring series such as Deputy Dawg, Hairy Dan, Keyhole Kate, Pansy Potter, Superwitch, and Winnie the Witch. The series is named after a black boy wearing a grass skirt, but that series was stopped after issue #210.

From issue #447 to #611 the series was mostly titled Sparky Comics.
